Types of tummy tuck procedures at The Ariel Center
As your surgery will be customized specifically for you, without first meeting with you, either in person or virtually, we don’t know which approach will achieve the best result for you. The options we offer include:
Mini tummy tuck:
For patients with a problem only on the lower part of the abdomen, a smaller incision can be placed, and the area tightened, with any excess skin and fat removed to restore a trim, fit look.
Standard tummy tuck:
This surgical approach involves a horizontal incision from hip to hip, as well as a vertical incision starting below the belly button. The underlying muscle structure is tightened and corrected, with excess fat and skin removed to create a slim, trim, healthy, youthful lower body contour.
360 tummy tuck:
Many patients, particularly those who have lost a significant quantity of weight with bariatric surgery, may need a surgical approach that addresses the circumference of the lower body, removing excess remaining fat and skin around the entire abdomen, sides, and back.
Fleur de lis tummy tuck:
In this type of surgery, the tummy tuck (that removes the excess skin in the area between the belly button and the pubis) is extended with a vertical incision that runs from the pubic area to the belly button and to the chest.
